Scrape fetches one URL and returns clean content in the requested formats. Use it for a single known page, not for following links (that is crawl) and not for a task that needs decisions along the way (that is agents). The rate is 1 credit per page, the same rate whether you called scrape directly or a page was fetched as part of a crawl or a rendered search result.
formats: ['markdown'] is a real, verified option. By default a scrape returns only the main content of a page; pass the CLI’s --whole-page flag (onlyMainContent: false on the other clients) to get the whole document rather than the extracted article body.

Crawl

The same fetch, walking a whole site from a seed URL.

Search

Find pages first, then scrape the ones worth reading.
