<OutcrawlStyles />

Bring a page's clean content directly into a coding assistant's context window while you build against it, instead of switching to a browser tab and copying by hand.

## Setup

Connect the MCP server first, see [setup](/docs/mcp/setup).

## What you'll do

* Ask the assistant to fetch one or a few reference pages
* Keep building with that content already in context

## Example exchange

**"Pull in the authentication section of this API's docs before we wire up the client."**

The assistant calls `outcrawl_scrape` on the page and reads the markdown back directly, no separate download step, no copy and paste, no HTML to strip by hand.

## What it can't do

This is one page at a time. For an entire docs site, [keeping a docs knowledge base in sync](/docs/examples/docs-knowledge-base) or the [lead extraction](/docs/examples/mcp-lead-extraction) pattern below is the better fit than repeated single scrapes.

This documentation is built and hosted on [Mintlify](https://mintlify.com), a developer documentation platform.
