<OutcrawlStyles />

Ask your assistant to research a topic and it can search, then read the pages worth reading, all inside the conversation.

## Setup

Connect the MCP server first, see [setup](/docs/mcp/setup).

## What you'll do

* Search for a topic
* Scrape the pages worth reading in full
* Have the assistant synthesise a short brief from what it read

## Example exchange

**"Look into what people are saying about the new release and summarise it."**

The assistant calls `outcrawl_search` for the topic, picks a handful of promising results, then calls `outcrawl_scrape` on each to read the full content rather than just a snippet. It comes back with something like *"Three sources cover this: two are broadly positive about performance, one raises a compatibility concern. Here is a short summary of each."*

## What it can't do

Search results are pro rata on what is actually returned, five credits per ten results, and each page scraped afterward is billed separately at one credit per page. A broad research pass across many sources adds up the same way it would if you called both routes yourself.
