<OutcrawlStyles />

This page covers signing in to the console at **[https://outcrawl.ai/console](https://outcrawl.ai/console)**. For authenticating REST API and MCP requests, see [API authentication](/docs/api/authentication), a different credential for a different purpose.

## Sign-in methods

<CardGroup cols={2}>
  <Card title="Google" icon="brand-google">
    One click, no password to set.
  </Card>

  <Card title="GitHub" icon="brand-github">
    One click, no password to set.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Email code" icon="mail">
    A 6-digit code sent to your inbox.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Magic link" icon="link">
    A link in your inbox that opens a confirm page; only the click signs you in.
  </Card>
</CardGroup>

The magic link is deliberately not a one-step sign-in: it opens a confirm page rather than authenticating on load, so a mail scanner opening the link on your behalf cannot use it up before you do. The 6-digit code is the same underlying check without that extra click.

These four methods are also how you sign in when the CLI's `outcrawl login` or an MCP client sends you to a browser to approve a code: if you are not already signed in, you pick one of the four first, then approve.

## Account access

The console is where an account's settings live. See [settings](/docs/account/settings) for workspace-level configuration, and [API keys](/docs/account/api-keys) for the credential your own applications and scripts use.
